FAITH FORMATION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
FAITH FORMATION
The St. Ann Faith Formation program is intended for children of registered parishioners from kindergarten through 8th grade. Instruction is offered throughout the school year to support our Catholic families as the first modelers of the faith to their children, while also guiding St. Ann’s young people in a journey toward a close, meaningful relationship with Our Lord.
Working together with families, we hope to foster an awareness of God’s grace and a desire to respond to that grace through developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. Classes are intended to promote the values of faith while laying the foundation for a lifetime of mercy, hope, and wonder in our creator.
To enhance the weekly lessons, we use the Sophia Institute, Spirit of Truth Series in grades K-7. Spirit of Truth is a sequential and informative presentation of what we as Catholics believe, live, and teach. Children of each grade level will receive lessons in prayer formation, scripture, lives of the saints, sacraments, and traditions of the Church. In addition, the St. Ann Faith Formation program offers sacramental preparation for children in second and eighth grade who are preparing for sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, or Confirmation.

HOME SCHOOL MINISTRY
St. Ann’s Home School Ministry seeks to build a Catholic community of home schooling families in order to edify its members and promote their growth in virtue. With complete fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, and under the guidance of our pastor, we will offer a variety of liturgical, educational, service and social activities.
